DriverConnex Dashcam app for iPhone and iPad

DashCam from DriverConnex enables you to use your iPhone to capture a video record of your journey. This could be used to substantiate a ‘no-fault’ accident, a driving incident that occurs, or as part of a driver training and review process.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION: You must always put safety first. You must only interact with this application when you are stationery and parked safely, such that you do present a risk to other road users. Furthermore, when using the application, you must always ensure your mobile device is mounted securely (on your dashboard, or interior of your windscreen) in a position that will not obstruct your view, or distract you from your driving.

- Looping Recording. Your previous 30 minutes of driving footage will be stored.

- Export Videos. Share your videos using email, mms or social media.

- Instant Capture. Tap anywhere on the screen to permanently save your last video segment.

- Crash Detection. Automatically generates a crash report when significant force is detected.

- Journey Tracker. Features our incredibly useful journey tracker for monitoring your expenses and trips.

DashCam from DriverConnex will only function while the app is open. Use of the phone to make calls or use other apps whilst recording a journey will cause video recording to be halted so it is recommended that you place your iPhone in ‘Do Not Disturb’ mode whilst driving.

Continued use of GPS running can dramatically decrease battery life and it is recommended that you use an in-car charger whilst using the application.
